RESUMÉ

I began DJing at WVVS Valdosta, GA 90.9fm back in 1996. It was college radio so I could get away with any kind of specialty show I wanted. Obviously I wanted a Goth/Industrial show. I ran Nothing Radio for 4 years playing with the format from a traditional Radio format to a 2 hour block of Mixed Industrial/Goth. I learned basic segues and beatmixing from the Techno DJ who worked at the station and began to slowly learn how to construct a mixed set of music that would flow for 2 solid hours. I focused mostly on sending out Mix Tapes to promoters, DJs and friends around the country. There are still some of these tapes floating around. My style focused more on abstract and guitar driven industrial and goth than the oontzy.

After I graduated college I hung around Augusta, GA for a few years getting back into the punk/underground scene helping to promote and support local art rock acts like The Hellblinki Sextet, or the shows at the (now closed) Hangnail Gallery. I began to interact and also support the Gothic and Industrial nights in Columbia, SC. After pushing my Demo CDs into enough hands, I landed my first guest spot gig at Thee Black Celebration at The New Brookland Tavern on July 20th 2002. From there I began to volunteer my time and resources at the various club nights around Columbia. In early 2003, I joined with my current partner, Pet to form Prodigal Productions. With Prodigal we've put on and promoted several nights around the Columbia, SC area. See below for a list of these events. Prodigal Productions disbanded in Fall of 2005, and I left to focus on my personal DJ career in other portions of the country.

January 31st 2003, marked my entrance into Guest Spots, when I spun at the Fetish Goth event, Purgatory in Charlotte, NC. Since then I've been travelling up and down the east coast spinning events in Atlanta, Washington DC, Raleigh NC, Philedelphia PA, and Savannah GA. Its not made me rich, and at times its put me in dire straits. Despite all that, I love the feeling of walking into a new club, in a new city and getting a good dancefloor going. Its a challenge and if there's anything I live for its a challenge.

I recently moved to the Milwaukee, WI area and after I get my personal life in order I'll be out and about again trying to spin places in Madison, Milwaukee, and Chicago and more. Please check my Event's Page for all the events I'm currently producing and guest spots you can find me at.
